Give your child the opportunity to form lasting relationships while exploring nature everyday this summer! JCCDC Summer camp offers three camp groups; Camp Buddies: for children aged 2 and 3, Explorers: Children ages 3-5 (potty trained), and Adventurers: elementary aged children (entering grades 1-5). Camp runs for 8 weeks from June 27th-August 19th. Weekly themes include Gardening, Insects, Art, Drama, Cooking, Music, Outdoor Construction, and Sports Skills. We’ll celebrate the USA in early July, have field days, explore other cultures, and create original songs and skits. Our beautiful campus offers campers opportunities to explore nature as they garden, raise beneficial insects, learn to compost, build their own play platforms in the woods, experiment in our outdoor science stations, add to our outdoor Music center, and explore many mediums as they create lasting works of art. Our young paleontologists will learn about the history of our planet as they dig for fossils and create dinosaur dioramas in our Dino Dig Station. Air conditioned indoor camp rooms will be used as each group’s base. Our full sized gym is available for activities during inclement weather. Explorers and Adventurers will have swim instruction and free swim in our indoor pool. All activities are tied to our overall theme of Nature Exploration. Counselors will focus on supporting group projects and helping each child form lasting relationships. Our professional ECC staff carries over as head counselors for each group. Group ratios follow OCFS guidelines.

Campers bring their lunch (peanut and tree nut free). Several healthy snacks are provided for campers each day.

Early and late care will be available by reservation at an additional $6 per hour.
